Life is Eternity

In this place we called earth,
Probably it is God forsaken,
Where humans has it's birth,
There's a place called heaven.

On this earth that we breathe,
A home that we are to live,
Journeys to seek and achieve,
Destiny made for us to believe.

We are but on borrowed time,
Our lives engulved within it,
The things we will leave behind,
A soul is all we will breed.

The birth we had is life,
Easy to breed but harder to die,
We are only here to survive,
What is lost we cannot revive.

A soul within the body we possess,
The path that leads is the light,
There's this place we go in death,
Could be darkness, maybe bright.

The peace is up there in heaven,
All that we had and what we got,
A place that is to be haven,
Trusts is in the hands of God.

From the beginning till the end,
This land could just be a pity,
How we wonder on our ascend,
It is a reality that life is eternity.

My Crystal Ball

My dreams are always deep,
They wander aimlessly in my sleep,
My head would hide above clouds,
Always wondering what it's all about!

What hopes have I on my wishes,
All those things that I misses,
Crazy they may seem,
But they are my everything!

They may be visions of a future,
But they are some good nurture,
All that I've been longing,
The things that I've been missing!

They are my shiny bright light,
More than my sparkling delight,
Some great things to admire,
Truly they are my heart's desire!

Wishing they are endless dreams,
Hoping for some new beginnings,
My dreams could be magic,
They will make my life complete!

It's the apple of my eye,
Truly they are telling no lies,
I believe they are my all,
They are inside my crystal ball!

One day

After having read one so many a romantics from my friend's POEMs,
I really can't resist but to rewrite one of hers just for her.
And I really hope she will not continuously keep on wishing!
But I'll still wish her wishes are full of hopes!

One day,
Someone may be waiting for you,
He may be out of your dream come true,
Probably someone who is fond of you!

One day,
When your life is so full of miseries,
He may be one from your fond memories,
Probably he will fill up some lost treasuries!

One day,
When the one that you wanna love,
He may be the one to propose,
Probably he'd love you the most!

One day,
When he appear from your wish,
He could be the one to promise,
Probably then you are truly his!

One day,
When all that came with blissful bells,
He will put you under a great spell,
Probably then all that is well ends well!

A Moment in Time

I often thought of time and how it flies!
Most of the time at a wink of an eye!
Often said that time and tide waits for no man!
It is what it will be till this wOrLd ends!
A time when you're in for thoughts,
It may be out of a dream,
They could have been head above clouds,
Wondering what they really could mean.

A time when you're looking for reasons,
It may be out of a situation,
They could have been a great concern,
Wondering deep into consideration.

A time when you're searching for truths,
It may have come from within,
They could' be some doubts you choose,
Wondering what it could have been.

A time when you're resenting,
It may have been a discontentment,
They could be something so disappointing,
Wondering over and over the dissatisfaction.

A time when you finally realize,
It may be out of self pity,
They may not be some answers to finalize,
Wondering what compassion is in your destiny.

A time when you got it all over,
It may be a time to resolve,
They really is what you should consider,
Wondering if it is time to evolve.

A Man of History

As I often mentioned about me writing poems spontaneously,
I had another encounter one recent morning after meeting a friend
and he gave me the following inspiration.
A man that is of integrity,
Such strength of endurance,
Is never without responsibility,
They are endless perseverance!

A man born with his destiny,
With paths that flows like a stream,
Making ways for his journey,
They are often impossible dreams!

A man pledged with obstacles,
Regrets that burn with sorry,
They often come in circles,
Happenings are one too many!

A man of his dreams.
Journeys that turn into ashes,
Sometimes they are so mean,
The torture of his sadness!

A man without rests,
Are filled with commitments,
They are some kind of stress,
And tests of his contentment!

A man of great power,
With the levels of wisdom,
What makes him a survivor,
That created his choice of freedom!

A man that conquers,
His acceptance over believes
Like bridge over troubled waters,
Failure over what he succeed!

A man in his making,
No necessity for glory,
Short lived from a happy ending,
Just a myth in a man of history!

You

Sometimes, I may not fully understand,
The feelings of a friend,
The yearn for her love everyday,
Often as it has,
made me so lost at what to say,
until this very day......
You,
The one of my true dream,
My all reasons to believe,
Giving me life to a new meaning,
You are all I am to live!

You,
The one I am wondering,
Deep in my mind for many miles,
Memories of you I keep having,
Thoughts of them that made me smile!

You,
The one I long to see again and again,
Your love that came onto me,
They drown away all my pain,
Everyday you are all I am hoping to see!

You,
The only one for my happiness,
Your warmth that comforts me,
They gave me promises,
With you I never felt lonely!

You,
The one always in my heart forever,
Engraved in me till eternity,
You are in me over and over,
I am right here waiting endlessly!

You,
The only one I am longing for,
Please be here for me again,
I am missing you more and more,
Without you my heart is in pain!

A Ballad of Ecological Awareness

Remembering Edward Goldsmith aka Teddy, The Environmentalist,
the Englishman who founded The Ecologist Magazine. He was also the Editor.
He passed away on August 21st last year at the ripe old age of 80.
Following is a POEM written on his work.
The cost of building dams is always underestimated
There's erosion of the delta that the river has created,
There's fertile soil below the dam that's likely to be looted,
And the tangled mat of forest that has got to be uprooted.

There's the breaking up of cultures with old haunts and habits loss,
There's the education program that just doesn't come across,
And the wasted fruits of progress that are seldom much enjoyed
By expelled subsistence farmers who are urban unemployed.

There's disappointing yield of fish, beyond the first explosion;
There's silting up, and drawing down, and watershed erosion.
Above the dam the water's lost by sheer evaporation;
Below, the river scours, and suffers dangerous alteration.

For engineers, however good, are likely to be guilty,
Of quietly forgetting that a river can be silty,
While the irrigation people too are frequently forgetting
That water poured upon the land is likely to be wetting.

Then the water in the lake, and what the lake releases,
Is crawling with infected snails and water-borne diseases.
There's a hideous locust breeding ground when water level's low,
And a million ecologic facts we really do not know.

There are benefits, of course, which may be countable, but which
Have a tendency to fall into the pockets of the rich.
While the costs are apt to fall upon the shoulders of the poor.
So cost-benefit analysis is nearly always sure.
To justify the building of a solid concrete fact,
While the Ecologic Truth is left behind in the Abstract.

Alone again naturally

In moments of despair all over again,
it is so restless a soul,
that yearns for the forsaken cries....
I am sick with a tormented mind,
Feeling lost in my own time,
Thoughts came rolling in to remind,
What dreams are there that it carry,
They came but they are not merry,
Nothing seems to make me happy!
My feelings are getting very funny,
What really is wrong with me,
Why am I feeling so sorry!
This is not what it should be,
It's driving me crazy,
And it's so not being me!
I am lost and clueless,
Why it has to be this sadness,
It's making me restless!
My breathing is such a heave,
When sleep is not at peace,
Why should I be so naive!
She's always in me I can't deny,
If I do not care for her it's a lie,
Her absence is always my sighs!
Now that I realize our depart,
And no matter how hard,
She will still remain in my heart!
Sadness in her filled me with pain,
Best of friends we'll always remain,
My journey may not be the same.
Now that the story is known,
Our paths will have it's own,
Naturally I will again live to be alone!

The art sketch for this poem was done
by me some 20 years ago!

Letting Go

Sometimes in Life
it is better off not to cling onto something
that is just in dreams of a past.
and especially so
when it brings more despair than happiness .....
I know now that I may not,
Those memories we both forgot,
A reminiscent of things past,
Feelings were made and never did last,
I know how hard I tried to hang on to,
With such fond memories of you,
Those promising words you often said,
To each other we were made,
The endless thoughts of never to part,
It was a pledge engraved in our hearts,
Then why am I just remembering,
Should I still cling on to endless hoping,
Come what may for my tomorrow,
I should have another future to follow,
What else more is left to say,
With heartaches at the end of the day,
Where my place is now I know,
I really need to be letting go!

It's the many expressive faces of "Funny Me!" by my cyber friend, Abeth Rivera.
Sometimes I dunno where to be inspired without her expressions!
Once again, my gratitude to her humbleness for granting me the unlimited
access of freedom to her portrays!

A Relationship......

A relationship without terms and condition,
It is enthralled with envision,
Far more than any obligation,
Such is a relationship of expectations,
Or one that gets into oblivion.

A relationship bonded is mutual,
Maybe self beguiled without any essentials,,
A war space of blames and accusations,
Not to make this a field of battle,
A fight to claims of rights that entitle!

A relationship in space is unpredicted,
Unburdened and unindebted,
Not by any way to feel accepted,
Free and no demands of repayments,
Nor in any sort of comparisons!

A relationship that ties that but not stifle,
What it possess not but liberal,
Not wanting just sweet essentials,
Or any gifts of acceptance of any words,
Gratitude here may not be required!

A relationship that's pleasantry and flattery,
But what is needed is sincerity!
Envision it as easy and be free,
With sense of peace and simplicity,
Unsweetened words that comes naturally!

A relationship as plain as the natural water,
No need for remembrance to gather,
If it ever gets to become any sour,
Nor any expected apologies,
Momentarily ends as it turns nasty!

A relationship of bittersweet wrangles,
Be free with no strings to entangle,
Keep it hypocrisy-free without any trouble,
Flow free like the unending river,
That would forge on and on as it flows!

A relationship is self-renewing,
It is somewhat self purifying,
No hiding of unnecessary feelings,
No sense in having unwanted belongings,
Know what you are and what you're doing!

A relationship that is oneness without gaps,
The space here might turn to be a trap,
But it's another real world we get to adore,,
Friendship made here are not to bore,
A space that is of unwanted wars!

This has been an amended poem bLoGged at Life Journal some time last year.
And I'm sharing it with you. Hope you liked it! Thanks for your precious time!
Have a beautiful relationship!
