The Enchanted Forest

Such an enchantment of what is being surpassed at a innocent forest, the feeling of being there in serenity, read on.....
What sights we find beneath canopy
Maybe the little fairies see
Watch them as they have fun and play
Singing and dancing throughout the day

See them ride the fireflies
Soar through the air on butterflies
Jumping off the mushroom stool
Into water leaf filled with morning dew

Climbing webs the spiders weave
High into the canopy
Bouncing and jumping, they take a leap
Landing on the web made trampoline

Oh, I never shall forget this day
Seeing the fairies while they play
Happy and smiling, seems to me
Just how I thought fairies should be

I decided to watch til night
I heard that's when they take to flight
When the children get in their beds
On the pillow rest their head

The fairy dust, is sprinkled light
Children dream, sweet dreams at night
Through night, this keeps them safe
Fairy dust is really great

Dawn, brings them all back home to sleep
On wildflowers land their feet
Curled up in a tiny ball
They'll rest til the wake up call

This was to be my secret, too
A tale I could not keep from you
Be careful when you see the light
The little fairies , not to fright

Love is Just Love to Be

When looking at love you may see,
It is totally a life full of mystery,
It dwells in lovers' heart,
It seems never wanting to depart!

Whispering a whole world of sighs,
It gushes outwards like ocean tides,
One breath of Love from within,
Your ego will be filled with feelings!

Looking on to love is like a dream,
As if spreading your unseen wings,
Love is meant always to be,
It makes your heart feeling so free!

Just let your love rise and let it show,
It may be just a moment ago,
Once it starts you will know,
Your heart's feelings will show!

Oh, such a love is meant to be,
Your heart feels so forever free,

Never enough of the longing,
Your heart will never stop singing!

And love truely is amazing,
It is many a splendoured thing,
From the start of a new beginning,
Through the journey, Love has no ending!

Life in the Limelights

As I journey my nite life as The Midnite Cowboy, roaming the streets into the limelights in such places like The Midnite Inn and another known as Cool Box, I've come to a simple conclusion of the lives these young girls and women who came from far away distant land as visitors.
They conquer and made this their promise land. And so they thought in their dreams but it ain't easy! Still, it's their high risk livelihood anyway! My following poem briefly depicts one of such stories......

He thought you always wanted him as a friend,
And you assured him that you would mend,
But then it's tough for you to amend,
When all you care most is how he would spend!

You try and try all that you can,
And you'd lead him on till the very end,
If all you dream of is to make your nights grand,
Then in what way can all this lead to a promise land?

Your work concerns many many fans,
They come and go after each blend,
It seems they are just giving you a helping hand,
But still you lead them on and keep them in suspense!

All that comes are none other than men,
Who'd just fill up your pockets and your bank,
In your mind you are thinking of how much home you'd send,
How would you cope with all that you need to attend?

Life for you is just a living pretense,
Nothing matters most when money is your essence,
You always say you'd try a better life and yet you can't,
In what way then you can make some sense?

LIBRA is ME, I am LIBRA!

Me, I am Libra,
The sign of a Scale,
A slightly inbalanced Star,
Planet Venus from up above,
It's the control of my blood,
Air is my quality with romantic moods,
Not without sensitivity that I should!

Sentiments I have by nature,
Vulnerable and yet social,
Excessively conciliating,
My refined tastes of esthetic sense,
Fridays suits me best,
It is good and immense!

My favorite numbers comes in even,
Colors are yellow, green, white and crimson,
Diamonds, jades and opals are my elements,
Charming with pleasant personailty,
Though it doesn't mean that I could be handsome!

My nature comes very artistic,
All beautiful things come in turn,
Love in greatness that I yearn,
Brotherly and friendly are in my harmony,
Dislikes most that goes ugly,
Or things that gives me agony!

I live by tact of consent,
Always try to be fair with reasons,
Even though there are lots of emotions,
My Justice is in the sense of consideration,
And it comes in many directions!

So it depicts most of my characteristics of the Astrological Sign, almost!

I NEED YOU

The following is a puzzle from my bLoGger friend,
JEN @Y!360
hope it puzzles & is entertaining...eNjOy!

I'll never know what brought me here
as if somebody led my hand.
It seems I hardly had to steer - my course was planned.
And destiny, it guides us all;
and by its hand we rise and fall.
But only for a moment time,
enough to catch our breath again.
And we're just another piece of the puzzle,
just another part of the plan.
How one life touches the other,
is so hard to understand.
Still we walk this road together.
We try and go as far as we can.
And we have waited for this moment in time ever since the world began.
Taken in the times gone by we wonder how it all began.
We never know,
and still we try to understand.
And even though the seasons change,
the reasons shall remain the same.
It's love that keeps us holding on,
till we can see the sun again.
And I stand alone,
a woman of stone,
against the driving rain.
And the night,
it's got your number - and the wind,
it cries your name.
And we search for clues,
win or lose,
in this we're all the same.
The hope still burns eternal,
we're the keeper of the flame.
will always need you boo.

Our Bird Friends

"This poem is about the interaction of birds and animals we see every day from the family room window." Ian Grice
Lorikeets from feeders look,
Neighbour’s cat lurks nearby tree,

Loves his secret shady nook,
Watching birds and watching me.
Raven sitting on the fence,
Cocks his head from side to side,
Arching wings in quick defence,
Calls his mate come sit beside.
Magpie searching on the lawn,
Cool where insects love to play,
He’ll check out the stands of corn,
Chuckling on this sunny day.
Pigeons cooing on the ground,
Grateful for the seeds that fell,
Listening for a danger sound,
Cat’s around and they can tell.
Wagtail takes his daily swim,
In the birdbath on the path,
Watch him on the water skim,
Antics make the children laugh.

Parrots flying overhead,
Shout their blessings as they go,
They look rather overfed,
Proudly let their plumage show.
Neighbour’s dog now watching cat,
Loudly barks to let all know,
Cat retreats from where she sat,
Birds watch their departing foe.
Lorikeets now screech their cry,
Seeds in feeder running low,
Mocking as the cat runs by,
Glad to see this hunter go.
Then when sunset shows its face,
All will find their night retreat,
Waiting morning sun to grace,
They’ll return the day to greet.

The Chronicles of mebeFree

I am True but I'm not Real,
I am Sincere but I'm not Reachable!
I am Truthful but I'm Untoucable,
I am Lovable but I am out of Hugs!

When you think it's me, I am Not!
You thought you see me, you just might Not!

When you thought you knew me, you May not!
We are all for a thought, as we're on the bLoG!

If you think I just bLoG, I simply just not!
I have the Words that could rock,
I am the tune that you just might sought!

Am I or am I Not?

But truely I am no other,
Then The Midnite bLoGger!
I am also The Midnite Surfer!

I am the one at a place they called BLOGGER!

My POEMs sing out loud to your hearts,
Sweet, sentimental and very soft!
I'm also yours truely The Midnite Cowboy,
Well, do you know Not?

I am that guy who roamed the Streets,
I get around at nite and feel the Breeze,
The joyous blue bird that flies so free,
It's the symbolic icon of mebeFree!

In appreciation to my good artist friend, Abeth Rivera
who took the time and effort to sketch me,
and thanks to her for sweeping away my discarded paper!

Peace - It's Only Home

This following Poem, another version of PEACE was published by Swami V. and I find it very meaningful and I'd like to share it with you! Hope it'll shed some light - eNjOy!

Behold, it comes in might,
The power that is not power,
The light that is in darkness,
The shade in dazzling light.

It is joy that never spoke,
And grief unfelt, profound,
Immortal life unlived,
Eternal death unmourned.

It is not joy nor sorrow,
But that which is between,
It is not noght nor morrow,
But that which joins them in.

It is sweet rest in music;
And pause in sacred art;
Between silence and passion;
It is the calm of heart.

It is beauty never seen,
And love that stands alone,
It is song that lives un-sung,
And knowledge never known.

It is death between two lives,
And lull between two storms,
The void whence rose creation,
And that where it returns.

To it the tear-drop goes,
To spread the smiling form
It is the Goal of Life,
And Peace — its only home.

Recollection

Looking out my window,
My thoughts go deeper,
Mind begins to wander,
Flickering eyes ain't getting wider.

My head is in a spin,
Now where do I begin,
What happiness could bring,
In those days when my heart still sing!

Am I or am I not,
Those days that I forgot,
Is it or is it not,
Battles that are being fought?

When the lights are shining bright,
When my strength are full of might,
Everything was in sight,
But why am I in such a fright?

What else could I wished for,
What's less and what's more,
Am I becoming an eye sore,
Or am I one of those who bores?

Sighing deep breathe of self console,
What went thru nobody knows,
My sorrows that wouldn't show,
What path will come for me to follow?

How then will I know,
Is it time that I may borrow,
Or shall I wait until tomorrow,
Or just recollection of my sorrows?

once in a moment of despair, a recollection...............

Anguish

Sad As I Am,
As Sad As You Can Be,
When Anger Strikes,
The Eyes Do Not See!

Gone Will Be The Pain,
That Went Astray,
All The Tears Too,
Will Just Roll Away!

When Nothing Will Matter,
And Your Mind Gets Sick,
Everyday Looks Further,
What More Do You Seek!

When The Waiting Gets Longer,
Patience Run Wild,
What Memory is Fonder,
Wilderness That Cannot Reconcile!

What Makes The Mind Go Crazy,
What Makes It Decide,
What Makes It So Easy,
The Conscience Just Subside!

All That Went Wrong,
All That Cannot Be Undone,
Left A Heart That's Broken,
Let the Past Be Past!

Even If You Recall The Memories,
The Love You Had May Not Exist,
Not A Ray Of Hope There Is,
It Just Can't Heal That Disease!

All Seems So Lost,
It's Like Over A Fire,
For It Is The Source,
That Makes The Desire!

You Live To Forsake,
As You Believe There Is,
It's All In The Hate,
Your Heart Is In Anguish!

Composed by: McCheah
once upon a time during a deranged moment.
That is part of Life's journey
though hope against the hopeless,
yet hoping!

You Came To Me

You came to me when in times of trouble,
When in need of a helping hand,
At the best that you can!

You came to me,
Giving me comfort,
A shoulder to lean,
Whispering those tender words!
You came to me,
When I'm stranded helpless,
When the whole world to me,
Gets so cold and merciless!
You came to me,
Lighting up my life,
Helped me be,
Giving me guide!
You came to me,
With such tenderness,
You made me feel so happy,
Made me hopeful with destiny!
You came to me,
You're my friend and savior,
When I'm in need,
You always came to me!

Life's Forsaken Life

In my heart sank a grief,
No one to pamper my loneliness,
So I sat on this rocking chair,
Wandering nothingness!

Except for my recurring sighs,
Glaring aimlessly at the ceiling,
With some humming of tiny insects,
Eyes are forgetting how to blink,

The air stood deadly still,
Except for some rushing breeze,
All seems motionless,
Just the sound of sweeping leaves.

How I wish there's no brain,
Where I would not live to think,
No need for reality of life,
And be free of everything!

Life is just a hard breathing,
I wish time could just stood still,
So it can stop the worrying,
And lost the sense to feel!

Hoping to end this forsaken grief,
I close my eyes into darkness,
Wishing to stay happy with relief,

And with no end to happiness!

Just A Memory

I remember that we walked,
Soaked to the very skin,
But I remember not,
That I was ever in,
Somwehre in a desirable room,
I don't remember where,
When we lay in each other's arms so soon!
Holding the warmness there,
I don't remember anything,
Of what we did and said,
We, in our love-making,
In that forgotten bed!
I remember when morning came,
We just smiled to part,
There was nothing to blame,
But just a memory to keep at heart!

This was one of the romantic short poems I wrote back in the late 70's.
It was later published on 5th of December 1979
in a local fortnightly tabloit magazine's poems corner

TIME after time

Time is a measure of Life,
It is an invaluable commodity,
Which no money can sustain,
It determines your accomplishments.
Time lost is never found,
It is an endless treasure,
It is the most delicate,
We have to Handle It with Care!
If we squander Time,
Life will be full of regrets,
For Time is forever,
But Life is Not!
Time comes by but only once,
It is truly a man's best friend,
But It can also be your worst enemy,
For Time and Tide waits for no Man!

hope that filled up yout time!
and of course thanks very much
for your Moment in time!

A Lady of Mine

This was a poem which I composed in Jan 1980 on a Saturday and it took 7 months to get it published. I mailed it on 10th Jan 1980 and got published on the 23rd of July 1980 ! Just a simple Poem Corner as they used to call it. Not paid anyway - just for expression purposes.

So, here it goes :-

Glamourous is the word to describe her,
Cheeky and sometimes a sense of humour,
Nothing has she to make me sadder,
It's the nicest things when she gets closer!

Lovely a smile she has,
From her pretty little face,
With a round pair of sparkling eyes,
She's cute and so full of grace!

Warm and kind she is,
Aways with a hand to lend,
And with a sentimental bliss,
She would always understand.

Feelings of affection,
And in her prime,
A heart of great devotion,
She's a lady of mine!

Just Because

As I sit and I wander,
my mind flickers,
one thought to wonder
another just would not retire!
And so it made me wanna inspire .....

Calmly and serenely eNjOy the following

that once was a lovable and unforgettable memory.......

Just Because,
They do me wrong,
Who say I come no more!
For everyday,
I've been waiting at the door!
I'd bid you wake, fight and win,
Weep not for precious moments,
But chances thrown away!
Wail not for golden ages on the wane.
For every night,
I burn the record of the day!
For every tomorrow,
A new soul is born again!
And it's all just because,
Because I'll wait for just another day!
Until the closer I get,
The more I'm in vain!

Inspired by the fave' song by Enrique Iglesias,

I composed it for my favorite hamster WyWy who was lost and never found.
It's about him and being the last surviving soul of his family.
He was obedient, he was cuddly, handsome and most of all he was lovingly lovely!
And I mourn for him!

About CHD Heart Poem

I have been so busybody all over, posting comments & also busily involved with self articles reading that I hardly take my fingers for a walk over here. And this was already in the draft storage for a week or so. I might have tried to wait for a node, but .... here goes nothing!

I was @ Brynlyn Anna Jensen 's Y!360 :-

The following is a beautiful poem that I read from another CHD baby, Inarah's, blog that brought tears into my eyes (alright, who am I kidding? Truth be told, I bawled my eyes out like a baby!) I just loved the accuracy in the description of the emotions and I just had to share it with you.

Somewhere...someplace... today...
A family is waiting to hear...
Is something wrong with their baby?
The answers aren't quite clear...
This family has entered an unwanted world...
And they just don't know what to expect...

Somewhere...someplace... today
They first heard the words: heart defect.
And how they hoped this was not true...
And thought... this cannot be...I too...
know just how this feels...
For one day...this was me.

Somewhere...someplace...today...
And how they hoped this was not true...
And thought... this cannot be...I too...
know just how this feels...For one day...this was me.

Somewhere...someplace...today...
A man and a woman embrace...
Their baby is in surgery...
They long to see her face...They haven't got to hold her yet...
Without...a cord or line...They pace the room awaiting news...
And hope she'll be just fine.
Prayers fill this busy waiting room...
And mom and dad are scared...

Somewhere...someplace..today...
The tiniest hearts are repaired.

Somewhere...someplace...today...
A child's growing fast...Smiling,laughing,thriving...
His mom thinks...can this last?
It's almost easy...to forget...
That anything is wrong...

Somewhere...someplace..today...
Her child seems so strong.

Somewhere...someplace... today...
A little boy fights...just to live
A father holds his tiny hand...His love...all he can give...
The doctor's are all baffled...
They fear that he might die...

Somewhere...someplace...today...
A family says goodbye...

Somewhere...someplace...each year..
More than 40,000 families will see...What it means...
when something's wrong...They'll face a CHD.
Today...for just a moment...
Stop...remember...reflect...
Make time to tell someone you know...
"I've been changed by a heart defect".

Author - Stephanie Husted
Tonight, please say an extra prayer for strength, courage, hope,

and faith for the CHD babies
and families of this world.

Misty

Looks like my collection of such hand full of poems are getting the better of me than composing myself!! And, I am a good collector!

This following was one that pops up from my Flickr friend, hipguedellas eNjOy!

Look at me
I'm as helpless as a kitten up a tree
And I feel like I'm clinging to a cloud
I can't understand
I get misty just holding your hand

Walk my way
And a thousand violins begin to play
Or it might be the sound of your hello
That music I hear
I get misty the moment you're near

You can say that you're leading me on
But it's just what I want you to do
Don't you notice how hopelessly I'm lost
That's why I'm following you

On my own
Would I wander through this wonderland alone
Never knowing my right foot from my left
My hat from my glove
I'm too misty, and too much in love.

Our House

I wrote Our House @Y!360 earlier this year while I was all alone in depressed mode.
It seems the old song by Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young - Our House is a very very very fine house, with 2cats in the yard ....... is being reminisced here in my short poem!

Well, and so to say The House is a HOME.
But the HOME is NOT a HOUSE
then how is it to live on the LIFE we are to lead??

The House is the only place you know,
This only place is your HOME,
When you know that it's no longer there,
Blindly into the air you stare.
Surely you know it's somewhere out there,
But where?
Surely you would hunt,
But then it's NOT that fun.
You need to seek high and low,
To look for the forsaken LOVE,
That when you managed to find it,
Is it there forever for us to keep?

Summer's Ending

My very nice lady friend Cheyanne @ Y360 composed this very touching poem
to eNjOy the passing summer with utmost jOy
and I've made my request to post it here for all to share the view:-

The leaves are still green,
Vividly so,
The tree bark is A lively blackish brown.
All is so alive,
Yet summer is Drawing to an end.
Leaves soon will begin to Fade and lose their green.
Next they will change into Warm autumnal colors Of rust,
yellow and orange Followed by the Drying of the leaves.
Though summer just began,

It is drawing to an end.

In appreciation to Shirea Mills

P.S. - probably another Mid Summer Night's Dream, perhaps?

I Don't Understand

I've come across a regular @Yahoo! 360° whom has been my regular visited space
& find this poem very interesting to collect.
So, as usual I'm sharing it with you.
eNjOy!!

"I don't understand what happened to us
Or why you have turned away.
Of course you are free to do as you like,
But first I have something to say.
To me it had seemed we could go on forever,
So close were our hearts, and at ease,
So much did we share, yet the words never faltered,
So I thought as time did as it pleased.
Whatever I did that has made you unhappy,
Or am that is not to your taste,
Or would be were I to return to your graces,
Or won't be if I am replaced:
I want you to know that your friendship is something
I treasure, and would not now end.
If you would be willing to turn to embrace me,
You'd find in me still a good friend."

Pearls of Wisdom

I have re-Posted this poem from Jacqui BB from YAHOO 360 friends space
thru Cheyanne and in it he wrote:-
So I am hosting Poetry Wednesday this week in Sue's absence.
Sort of seems appropriate that I offer up a poem of my own.
And I have been rather rattling these off on demand of late but I don't think that is going to work today so I went leafing through those journals I have mentioned before.
I didn't even find a date on this until the next to last page I filled
(only about a third but every page a poem).
It is 1976. In the last year I believe of my relationship with a man named Bruce.
The one with the Masters in English and all but thesis on Doctorate.
He hated that I learned I could write.
I was not with him for 19 years so I haven't a clue of just what specific incident I am referring to in this poem. Likely a fight with my brother.
Far too many to be specific.
But not knowing I do not think lessens the truth in this poem.
Observe if you will
No tell tale frown
Nothing up my sleeve
Just behind my mind
Where quietly I air the linen
Review my past like a color guard
Passing in Review just out of yours
So I can pass judgmentI now pull it out for you.
Notice, if you will, the tiny facets
The minute changes of light
As I turn this prism of personality
First one way then the next
You'd never guess
The festered sore this tiny gem has created.
But a tiny grain of sand like so many, you say?
A mere chip off the rock of sand
And well have I hidden itEven from myself
Stored under gauzy tissue of laughter and flippancy
Smoothed and polished and coated and re-coated
To be a pearl of wisdom.
But the wisdom, my friends,
is in observing it
Pulling back the tender tissue
And wiping clean the gem
Then with a hammer smashing it
To reveal the original stone
The tiniest nugget of golden truthA trifle you say?
Well, perhaps
Perhaps once and maybe soonB
ut for now I give you the one, the only(Don't we wish?)
THE Pea which kept a Princess awake
Under not one, not two, not even three
But nineteen, count them.
Nineteen years!
Yes, Sir, Folks.
A more expensive trifle you've never seen.
It has cost us dearly.

Many thanks to Jacqui BB & in appreciation to Cheyanne.

Living LIFE in Chapters

One of my spaces friends @Yahoo! 360° wrote :-
"I'm reminded of Rudyard Kiplings supportive poem in times such as these.
Wise words that I'm sure will help.

And I'm sharing it with you here & hope you'll like it too. eNjOy!

If you can keep your head when all about you,
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too,
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:
If you can dream--and not make dreams your master,
If you can think--and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster,
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken,
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools:
If you can make one heap of all your winnings,
And risk it all on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings,
And never breath a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew,
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you,
Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!'
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings--nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you;
If all men count with you, but none too much,
If you can fill the unforgiving minute,
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And--which is more--you'll be a Man, my son!"

What Love Means

Known as Juz Me, my spaces friend from
A Little Space of Me @WinLive spaces wrote "Everyone like to ask what is love? Love makes us feel so sweet yet so painful... Here is a song i would to share with everyone about love. Here she sang and explain what is love. I personally think it is so true. Do you think as what i am thinking?"

They say it's a river,
that circles the earth.
A beam of light shining,
to the edge of the universe.

It conquers all,
it changes everything.
They say it's a blessing,
they say it's a gift,
they say it's a miracle,
and I believe that it is.

It conquers all,
but it's a mystery,
Love breaks your heart,
love takes no less than everything.

Love makes it hard,
and it fades away so easily.
In this world we've created,
in this place that we live in.

In a blink of an eye,
the darkness slips in.
Love lights the world,
unites the lovers for eternity.

Love breaks the chains,
love aches for everyone of us.
Love takes the tears and the pain,
and it turns it into the beauty that remains.

Look at this place tha was paradise,
but now it's dying.
I'll pray for love,
I'll take my chances.

That it's not too late,
love breaks your heart.
Love takes no less than everything,
love makes it hard and fades away so easily.

Oh! Oh! Oh !

Love breaks the chains,
love aches for everyone of us.
Love takes the tears and the pain,
and it turns it into the beauty that remains!

In our bLoGosphere

A puzzled poem posted @one of my Yahoo360 friend's space.
No title and no pix. Enjoy!

We sit and we type,
and we stare at our screens.

We all have to wonder,

what this possibly means.

With our mouse we roam,

through the rooms in a maze.

Looking for something or someone,

as we sit in a daze.

We chat with each other,

we type all our woes.

small groups we do form,

and gang up on our foes.

We wait for somebody,

to type out our name.

We want recognition,

but it is always the same.

We give kisses and hugs,

and sometimes flirt.

In ICQ we chat deeply,

and reveal why we hurt.

We do form friendships,

but why we don't know.

But some of these friendships,

will flourish and grow.

Why is it on screen,

we can be so bold.

Telling our secrets,

that have never been told.

Why is it we share,

the thoughts in our mind.

With those we can't see,

as though we were blind.

The answer is simple,

it is as clear as a bell.

We all have our problems,

and need someone to tell.

We can't tell "real" people,

but tell someone we must.

So we turn to the puter,

and to those we can trust.

Even though it is crazy,

the truth still remains.

They are Friends without Faces,

and odd little names.
